Consulting

Three kinds of work we know inside out.

Custom systems, webshops, and the integrations between them, for Swedish SMEs. Built by the people you meet, around how you work.

  • Internal systems

Order flow, planning, inventory, reporting. The screen your staff has open all day, built around how they work.

  • E-commerce

Webshops and the plumbing behind them: pricing rules, stock, fulfilment, and the ERP they all have to agree with.

  • Integrations

Making the systems you already pay for talk to each other, so nobody is re-typing the same order into three places.

Process

From the first visit to a system in production.

  1. We come and watch the work

We see the job where it happens, over the shoulder of the people who will use the system. No workshop with post-its.

  2. A proposal you can say yes to

What we build, in what order, and how it's priced. In writing, before anything is built.

  3. You test while we build

You use the system on your real data as it takes shape, and what you tell us steers the next step.

  4. We run it, or you take it home

We run the system on our own platform and look after it year after year. If you'd rather have it in-house, you get the code and the documentation. Both work equally well; you choose.

Pricing

Fixed price or time and materials. You choose.

We've done both and suggest whichever fits the job. There's no price list; you get a price once we've seen the work.

  • Fixed price

For a clear scope. You know the total before we start.

  • Time and materials

For work that takes shape as it's built. You pay for the time we put in.

  • Asking costs nothing

We're happy to spend half an hour on the problem. If we're the wrong people for the job, we'll tell you straight away.

Questions

What people ask before the first call.

  • What does a custom system cost?

It depends on the job, so we don't name a price until we've seen the work. Then you choose fixed price or time and materials.

  • Do we need a requirements spec?

No. A description of the problem is enough. We work out the rest when we see the work.

  • When do we see something working?

Early. You're clicking through the system on your real data long before it's finished, not looking at slides of what it will become.

  • Who owns the code?

You do. The code is yours, documented so another developer can pick it up, whether we run the system or you do.

  • Can you connect to our ERP?

Very likely. We run integrations against the Garp ERP, webshops, and machines on the factory floor today. If the connection you need doesn't exist yet, we build it.

  • Do you only work in Jönköping?

No. We're based in Jönköping and Västerås and build for companies across Sweden, in Swedish or English. We'd still rather hold the first meeting at your place, where the work happens.
